Further to my report to the Comrades at Stavka, I concur that it looking like, German moving towards Smolensk, but nothing in Smolensk, few people, no industry, no reason go Smolensk! Not even the Tourists we release from Siberia, want go Smolensk! These Germans not know where go vacation in USSR in July!

In addition, on the southern front, it appears to be a busy tourist season! This has resulted in the Germans indicating their lack of manners and courtesy, as it appears they are trying to jump the line and not wait for their turn to see Kyiv! Perhaps they are concerned if it takes too long they may get stuck in snow storm!

And Finally, my Great leader, in order to keep morale up, our Generals in the Black Sea region have decided to challenge the Germans to a game of 'peek a boo'! "Hello, Comrade Germans, come and find us!!! We have big prize for winner of game!!!"

End of turn 5. 24 high morale units are encircled. Hoping he will try to free them, as that might just add to the prisoner count.

A quick summary. Soviets send more units into the pskov pocket. A blitz to Leningrad finds the city mostly undefended..

quite the game for the Axis, that disaster at Leningrad.. losing the city so early would make it quite a rough ride...
