I received my Anniversary discount coupon recently and treated myself to Fields of Glory 2. I haven't had time to try it yet but I am looking forward to it.

It is nice to get this little gift every year. I really appreciate it.

Good choice. For more immersion, I would also recommend a good book for reference that I use often.

I have played through the Tutorials and it is a fine game. There has been a lot of thought put into the UI and game system. I usually play WW2 and modern, but I thought I would give it a go and I am glad I did.

I am no stranger to ancients. I played the old SPI game Phalanx, Julius Ceaser from Matrix, and the Punic Wars from HPS. FOG2 is quite a large step forward from them.
