I am moving this discussion from the beta 998.2 release thread.

After install, my message window works fine when it is within the CMANO layout, but when you choose to open it as a separate window, nothing happens. Resetting the window positions does not resolve this problem.

I have included the two pics below.

This is not an urgent fix for me, but I figured you guys would want to know it was happening with build 998.2

you will see the small thumb previews of my two CMANO windows at the bottom. The message window is blank.

I've noticed resetting secondary windows fixes this temporarily, but a few minimise and restores and the issue recurs

Same worries because "Standalone message log window can now be minimized / maximized", maybe ..

Click right and "expand"

This can be closed. I corrected the issue at my end.
