Use the Scenario Editor (War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\SCEN\AE Editor.exe) to open the scenario you are modifying, then click the "Ships" button to bring up a listing of every ship in that scenario. The window on the left will have all of them listed in unit ID sequence.
