Did a quick search to see if this has already been reported:

When right clicking on a unit, the unit dialogue window does not open. A faint outline of the window appears on the background, but no more than that. I use right click on units a lot during the game. Work around is to use the main unit dialogue tab at the top of the screen.

DO you only have the issue with this scenario? I tried this one and multiple scenarios with no issue.

Well, I am definitely getting trigger happy in my old age and skipping several basic troubleshooting steps. Tried reloading this saved game, as well as loading a new scenario, and the problem went away. Right click open unit dialogue works as expected. Just an anomaly I guess.

Ok, hope I am not driving anyone with my own wild goose chase, but I went back to this and I think I do have a real issue. When I tested this the 2nd go round, I did not replicate the exact same conditions I had before. The no Unit Dialogue issue seems to appear only when I have the Database Viewer window open as well. When it is not open, right click on a unit works as advertised. With it open, no joy. Tested in several different scenarios, including loading a save game.

Would appreciate someone helping me verify this in their own setup. If it is my local issue, I will continue to troubleshoot.

OK, I see what you're seeing, but I have never done that before. Have never seen the need, frankly. Maybe it would matter if it was an issue with multiple monitors.

I am using multiple monitors. I tried moving the window to the main monitor with the main screen and the issue is still there.

EDIT: The workaround works for me, so please consider this a low priority issue if it is going to take resources from more pressing items. Especially if no one really uses right click like I do.

Have the same issue as you Sigma8510 (asked to merge my double post into yours).
Using multiple monitors and always have the Database Viewer open. Now, there's a conflict when right-clicking units. Hopefully it gets sorted down the road.

Agreed. Not sure how many Command guys use our unique setup. I bought another monitor just to use this capability in game. Workaround suffices for now.

A number of people use multiple monitors. Just not many seem to leave the db open. I think most people use it for the message window.

Well, my setup allows me to have the "command map" window open together with Database Viewer + Message log + Mission Editor + Order of Battle + Doctrine & ROE + Side Briefing.
It's very nice to have access to all that information at once, not needing to open-close, open-close...
It is what makes CMANO so immersive (at least for me).

Sorry to be a PITA, but is this being looked into? Is it registred?
Personally, can't really play this version (at full immersion) and now considering a roll-back (which I really don't want to do).
The recent patch was such a good improvement.

Please don't take this the wrong way, I know new features always causes problems.

I have this issue as well. I can confirm this still exists in build 998.4.

Still in 998.5
It seems like there's been a window-ID mixup. When (trying to) opening the unit menu (by right-clicking on unit), the Database Viewer "responds" by reloading (it shouldn't). And the menu (for right-clicked unit) stays invisible (although there's a black vertical line showing up - graphical glitch?).

There are more pressing issues, I know :)

Is there a way to roll back to previous versions?
(prior to 998.7, i.e. before that massive and much appreciated patch)
Still a concern (for me) not being able to right-click on a unit with the Database viewer open.
