Oberst_Klink -> Die Verteidigung des Balkans / The defense of the Balkans (14 Szenarios / Scenarios) (3/11/2018 11:15:05 AM)

Courtesy of Eagle-FZS... another splendid series of scenarios for JTCS EF II!

On August 1944, the 2nd and 3rd Ukrainian Front under General Malinowski and Tolbuchin attacked Army Group South Ukraine, Colonel-General Friessner, and encircled the German 6th and 3rd Romanian troops under General Dumitrescu. These Soviet troops then advanced further south and reached the Danube on 29 August 1944. On August 30, most of the Soviet forces turned west and then north, finally overrunning Romania. Parts of the 3rd Rumanian and 1st Hungarian Army under the command of the Romanian General Dumitrescu were to take over the defense of Bucharest.

The 2D view of 1st battlefield along the river Prut...

Some of you (I hope!) might have noticed, that the Hauptkampflinie is keeping players up to date about JTCS, CS Legion | Campaign Series and Steel Panthers. Wort a visit, because it's easier for me to dump updates into a blog, rather than the various threads here. :)

I still have some LCGs, scenarios and graphical adjustments not only for East Front II but also for West Front and Rising Sun.
All I have to do is test it and adjust if necessary before I publish it.

Ja, keep it up! Your work is already creating interest across the board! The hits on the posts of the Hauptkampflinie blog prove it.
