MBF -> Quetion on Engineers and Night Fighters (3/15/2018 3:08:20 PM)

These have probably been answered before but my google fu is down today ...

(1) Do Engineers in Reserve mode assist in building ?

(2) Can I sweep or use airfield attack for the multi-role night fighters that the Allies get ? (or better yet bomb with them ?)

Much appreciated for any responses !

Caveat: you cannot sweep at night.

You can set the sweep but does it actually conduct a sweep and produce a combat report?

MBF -> RE: Quetion on Engineers and Night Fighters (3/16/2018 11:48:02 AM)

Let me give it a try - so far I haven't seen them sweep or even attack airfields at night - but it may be weather or something else going on

Thanks for the replies !

Which aircraft specifically are you trying to do this with? If the aircraft doesn't carry bombs, then they won't attack the airfield or port.

I'm at work now so will have to check later this afternoon - I did check to make sure the planes carried bombs in conjunction with the drop tank settings (a lesson I learned trying to use fighter-bombers earlier in the game)

fwiw = playing vs the AI in January of 45 (a game I started in 2012)
