Leandros -> Experienced JFB wanted for interesting project..anybody..? (3/30/2018 4:41:00 PM)

...to help me test some theories as expressed in my recent book series "Saving MacArthur" - the essence of which is a much
more aggressive allied side than in the RL. I have played it through one time against the AI in a "realistic" mode but would
like to repeat it against a live opponent following a pattern agreed upon. The game should be as realistic as possible but
with a couple of quirks I want introduced. My intention is to finish the game on August 7th 1942 - the date of the US
landings on Guadalcanal, the crux being to see what could have been done differently - or better - up till that date. So,
the opponent is free to quit at that date.

As it is a few months since I last played the game, and it is my first PBEM, I would like to go through a short scenario first
to get acquainted with the peculiarities of a PBEM game. I should probably be able to file daily scenarios.

I would file a weekly AAR here in the form of a "News Report" (all sorts of cheating allowed) and would appreciate if the opponent
could do the same from his side. If the project works out I might use it as a basis for a tail-end book after my eight-book series
"Saving MacArthur", of which I have soon finished the eighth volume.

If interested, please PM me.

Fred

This link to the AAR I filed when I first played against the AI may give you an idea of what I am looking for:

Very nice project! I have not enough exp and information about historical moves to be your JFB but I subscribe to your AAR.

Thank you, HS - unfortunately it seems as if nobody here has the guts (..[;)]...)....to take the challenge. In the meantime
I'm playing another game against the AI just to see the difference now that I've learnt all I hadn't during my first game.

It's a big difference.

Hi Fred,

I missed your initial posting in 2015.

I'm potentially interested in 'sand boxing' some of the things that you suggested. Drop me a line if you'd like to discuss further.
