I have not played "Empires Apart" yet, it looks like a terrific RTS game! Some of reviews on Steam have not been good. Who has played it here? What do you think?

It looks like a simple clone of Age of Empires 2: The Age of Kings. The good reviews seem to come from players who got the game for free, which is a very dubious practise.

That's on Steam as well in a HD version - and very cheap when sales come around.
