AZKGungHo -> Setting Resolution (4/17/2018 5:47:58 PM)

I have a new computer and can't seem to get the resolution correct. Worse I can't find a way to change the resolution once it's set. I selected full screen, a box said it can't run that resolution and now I can't get that game (Patton Drives East) to play at all.

There must be a resolution file somewhere I can delete or change, but I can't find it.

Help!![&o]

Hello,

Under your "c:\Users\xxx\Documents\My Games\Strategic Command Classic WWII - Pacific" is a sc2.ini. This seems to hold the settings.

Edit: Sorry, you needed the patton drives east (xxx is your user name):

Thanks, that was it. I was able to get it to run again and can now change the resolution from the settings menu!

Whew!

Thanks again.

I found the file what are we suppose to do? Delete it? My file states 19 x 10 resolution which is what I want but I still get the CRASH:

[04/17/2018 11:27:26; 6.2.9200; 1920x1080x32(1); v1.1] FAILED(draw_unit_text_to_screen): Segmentation violation

Any suggestions to fix this? My game is installed on STEAM, by the way.

I turned off the FULL SCREEN setting and the error seems to stop.

Hello,

Turn off hardware aceleration in the game itself. It is located under settings. By this you can turn on the full resolution if you prefer that (see my previous post about this error)
