Could it be this issue ? - http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/fb.asp?m=4264638

You must all be on the same version on a PBEM game, bad things may happen otherwise (that isn't what's causing your problem here though I think)

gazfun -> RE: help! (5/17/2018 5:12:15 AM)

Oh does that still occur?

zakblood -> RE: help! (5/17/2018 5:44:19 AM)

yes, incorrect version of any game returns user back to game state with error message, all players need to be on the same version.

when uninstalling any game, all files and folders for the game need to be removed before reinstalling, as any left over files or folders my impact the loading of the game again and give errors.

plus any or all of the pre requites need to be re installed also

Obviously my friend but the GM should know who hasn't got the same version, in each playgroup, and when you are in more than one group, there has to be a method of finding out who the culprit is.

zakblood -> RE: help! (5/17/2018 6:38:53 AM)

agreed,

easiest way is everyone always use the latest none beta version imo

which is 1.22.02

which was the one he was on, but others weren't, so would have been better for others to have upgraded maybe, then again might have been better to finished off what they were doing first, so it's not as straight forward as first look
