LoftyPoacher -> Message Log Formatting (5/13/2018 8:19:09 AM)

I have my message log windowed and displayed on a second monitor. In this condition, all paragraph formatting disappears. This isn't a problem on most one-line messages, but large blocks of text become extremely difficult to follow. Is there a fix for this?

Hi,

Can you post a screenshot and save? This would help us see and investigate the issue much faster. Thanks.

Dimitris,

I've noticed the same thing on a second monitor. Here are screen captures of messages:

1. As it appears in a pop-up message window.
2. As it appears on a second screen (message log in second window = ON).
3. As it appears on the main screen (message log in second window = OFF).

Hope this helps.

Thanks both! This helps.

Also, FWIW, I seem to recall a time, (probably v1.11 or earlier), where the 2nd monitor messages retained the format of the original message.

I _think_ this has been fixed in the current version....?

Apparently not fixed in 1.14 build 998.10. See attached screen shots of the same messages in a log window [lower image] vs display on the tactical map [upper image]. I didn't upload a scenario since this is taken from the open state of the sub tutorial 1.1 that ships with the game, although if it will help I'll be glad to.
