Ick. this is not a fun encounter for the RN. Pls put the D on the Kent, the A on the Queens, and stay.

Also for decisions like this you can just make them for me (taking D on Kent).

EDIT: any aborting ships can go to Aden.

I am pretty sure that the 'A' will be assigned to a ship by Italy. And, if it is, it will not be put on the Queens. So, in all likelihood, the Queens will be available for additional results if there is a second combat round.

So I want to confirm whether CW will stay for a second round or not. Or if this call will be made when the combat results are complete.

And have CW decided on abort ports if any ships are aborted?

I hope to be able to continue in 11 to 15 hours time.

The action continue earlier than planned, due to demands from Italy.

The CA is damaged, but saves the abort.

CW has another CP in range.

And here is a picture of the CW forces in Egypt.

(Most of the CW units are flagged "in combat". Looks like a bug. Maybe because I loaded from a autosave. Or perhaps the flag has always been shown during this step and I didn't notice before. I'll check if the flag disappears after the naval combat is done)

No additional combat in the Red Sea. The weather saves the Allies, this time. Axis rolled 4, and Allies 6.

Edit: And the "combat flags" I previously mentioned has been cleared. [:)]

Germany, Italy, and Finland, makes five attacks. Four in USSR, and one in Egypt.

The Italian navy supports the attack on Alexandria with 5 points of shore bombardment.

The Finnish air force support their attack with one point.

The Soviet air force can provide defensive support to the three central attacks.

Edit: German engineers provide support in crossing the Dvina river.

Germany selects the combat table for all three central attacks.

Two, I think are automatic, regardless of defensive air.

The attack on the Kiev MIL is currently 51:5, or automatic, since I can select blitz. However, if the LND4 provide defensive ground support the odds changes to 51:6. And that is 6.5:1 blitz after weather modifications.

Will USSR send up any aircraft?

The attack in the Murmansk region will be 27:4, or 6.75:1. And no weather modifications. I assume that USSR will select assault here.

I was a bit tired when I made the last moves yesterday. This morning I woke up struck by the thought that I had misplaced a couple of units, And checking confirmed it. My opponents was gracious and let me change place of the units so that they are placed as I had planned. This doesn't change the odds of the attacks. Although it did take some time to recreate the land movement. And I think I made all the other moves as I did before. All the attacks are now the same anyway.

Now. Onwards to the attacks.
