The game might need some sort of maximum altitude for what terrain an LCAC can traverse. In any case I've made a mental note to look for the same thing when I finally encounter LCACs.

They launch from the USS Kearsarge toward the south shore of Sicily and then run inland about 10nm and sit there. Pretty sure they can't do that IRL :-) If they can, then buy more :-)
