Supposedly Kerbal Space Program has a way to opt out. I just went and clicked opt out. I hope that does it.

where in KSP did you do this, just been looking for the setting in the program and can't find it.[&:]

I'm completely confused... Why is anybody okay with being spied on?
(Even if benign, have databases never been hacked?)

zakblood -> RE: A spywhare integrated in Civ 6 (10/17/2018 1:40:33 PM)

it's part and parcel of being in the modern electronic world now days i'm afraid

Nvidia been doing it for years, almost every O/S from any maker has, 99% of all browsers, nearly all the camera in the world, and on and on and on, phones, smart TV's, if you wish to go off grid, it's hard to see maybe many places left to really be off the total surveillance grid. so just live with it,..

I didn't really like Civ VI, but I do like the older series though. Glad none of those games that I have except one is Elder Scrolls Online.

While they have that, what could possible happen to you or your pc?

I rather everyone objected. Even if they did use the products.

I do not understand that we can be offended to be spied on, listened to, filmed ...
Is not this what God has been doing since the beginning?
We are just trying to look like him ...
or to take himself for him![:D]

KSP does not contain Red Shell, it contains Unity Analytics.

An opt-out page should display the first time the new version is run. If not I believe you can edit the Settings: [General tab, System pane, "Show Unity Analytics Dialog on Next Startup Only"] and then next time you start the game the opt-out option is shown.

Thanks Mobeer, I will take a look at that.

I still don't understand the apathetic acceptance? Historically, many terrible things have been reversed, that were once accepted as inevitable or prevalent (at best).
