So I am setting up random weather and I noticed some odd behavior. When the temperature is set to 17C the equator is a freezing 7C and the Arctic circle is 27C. The mid latitudes are at the the appropriate 17C. Am I missing something or did I stumble on a bug?

I think there is a + or - 10 degree swing on the set temp that seems to have something to do with time of day - cooler at midnight, hottest in the mid-day.

It is global weather - it is not at all regional, I don't think the arctic or the equator will matter. Could be wrong though.

That is what I thought from the documentation. It might be some midnight sun stuff. The odd thing was I traced the meridian down and the ten around Norway was 27c, England 17c, and Morocco 7c. With the exception of the arctic circle everything should have been at the same time.

You may wish to put this in the technical issues forum.
The guys there are pretty thick skinned about that sort of thing. When I have added something that I thought was wrong, and it was not... they were not rude or anything like that. So put it there, and if it is a problem, I am sure they will look at it, and if not... no harm, no foul.

Before taking your advice I checked the scenario again to see where the changes happened, and I figured it out. I was messing with weather at a time when the equator was night, mid latitudes were dawn and the polar region was day. Earth's axial tilt rearing its head.
