Good thinking. It forces you to look for alternatives other than the obvious tactic to sieze the objectives. Most have just hammered away with frontal assaults and failed to reach the critical beach objectives. If you don't get there by the last turn, you will see Jap barges leaving the beach area. This represents the evacuation of the Jap 17th Army from Guadalcanal.
