I've noticed that some aircraft such as P-38s, P-47s, etc. allow the player to change the loadout between bombs and drop tanks on a unit-by-unit basis. This is nice, since it allows the player to change the role of the unit between escort and ground attack at will.

On other types, such as most Spitfires and Typhoons, seem to enforce a permanent bomb load. One can still use, say, Spitfires as escorts, but they still seem to be carrying their bomb load. Is this hindering their range? Does carrying bombs affect air-to-air combat performance?

If so, it would be great if ALL bomb-equipped fighter types had an armament toggle to disable the bomb load.

The FB's hardwired with a bomb load should be used on fighter-attack missions only. Their endurance and fighting capability is reduced compared to those without bombs.

Some 2nd TAF Tiffies have rockets, all others have bombs.

There are two things you can do here. Use the Creepers editor and do just that. Or you can play the air scenarios in WITW. To simple for my tastes, but it does have a lot to offer in the way of alternative aircraft and load outs.

Hi warshipbuilder,

I'm not sure what either of those things are.

Is Zippyshare the only file hosting option these days?

The appearance of scantily clad young ladies, and three download buttons without a clear distinction as to which is file and which is 'advertisement' make me a little nervous.

PM me with your email address and I will send it to you.

Ever heard of adblocker? I don't see such a nonsense ad.

hey sorry to hijack the post, but I couldn t make work message reader or Editor in ERDBTR eith latest update...anyone could do this?

warshipbuilder -> RE: Forced fighter bomb loads in BTR (9/17/2018 4:18:19 PM)

Message reader doesn't work with the 1.03 update. No reason for the editor not to.

Texeiro -> RE: Forced fighter bomb loads in BTR (9/17/2018 7:40:05 PM)

I meant the Alterego editor, the DLL injection, that was really really great and could edit all, but even better, you could check damage, or test things about industry damage etc..

simovitch -> RE: Forced fighter bomb loads in BTR (9/18/2018 2:55:05 AM)

The AE injector dll will only work with the 1.02 update.
