ORIGINAL: mind_messing The KB being out of position may be a blessing in disguise. In its current position it's perfectly placed to shield Hyuga's retreat westward. The Allied CV's are also a little more understrength than they would be otherwise, and there's always the chance that one of your subs makes a decisive move in the night phase next turn. As cute as it is to see Jakes dropping their hand-grenades on the decks of BB's, I wonder if it would be worthwhile to have them all on naval search to make sure that DL on Allied ships is maxed out? Especially with the abysmal weather in NorPac… I commend your bravery in wanting a CV clash in the Aleutians. With weather being such a key factor in winning battles, it's a bold move to fight in the theatre where the weather is even more unpredictable than is usual in AE... I am not really relying upon float planes from land bases for naval search, as 1 there is a strong Allied CAP presence, and 2 the weather stinks so much they often don't fly. I was hoping to get those little guys bombing the deathstar.
