MarauderPL -> Looking for a Soviet opp (closed) (8/22/2018 12:43:27 PM)

Hi, after a long time playing Soviets I would like to play the Germans once again. The pressure of performing flawless turn 1 has been off-putting for a long time, but the desire to be on the attack has recently grown stronger.

If there is a competitor who would like to face me, please post here or PM me :)
I am an experienced (if somewhat rusty) player, but (I think) nowhere near world's best. So be prepared for a deep Lvov opening.

Game conditions:

server game
non-random weather
Either +1 Sov and mild blizzard or no bonus and harsh blizzard (you choose)
Better CV
no cheeky airdrops and naval invasions in 1941, also no HQ swapping fuel tricks on my side
having fun :)

I am capable of doing a reasonable number of turns per week, like about 5 or so. The first turn may take me a couple of days tho, as I need to rehearse it ;)

Sure I will give it a go...I am a moderately experienced Soviet player...I attended the Moscow Military school of Blind Obedience as well I served 4 years in Tashkent as a security guard...further proof of my skill is that I have not yet been shot by the NKVD I am not a trick game player so no problem

Hi,

I have been playing WITE for a few years but have been loving the challenge of GGs 'War in The Pacific AE' of late. ITs time to get back into the ground war of maneuver. I am an Int. level player with only a few PBEM games behind me. I like five turns a week (flexible) and will stick with the game to the end. As German you can pick the house rules, I'll take the Soviet Blizzard effect. I always considered the LVOV pocket on Day 1 a bit gamey, because of the set up and I prefer to leave one hex open for Sov supply on Turn one, just to create a historical obstacle for AG South.
