Well, the Scots and the Irish that they came from have a lot of red headed people. I think that the Irish were more civilized so being a barbarian might be considered normal for a Highland Scot not too long ago. I do believe that is where the men wear skirts . . . [8\|] Grafin Zepplin (sp?) also played a war game but she has not posted on the thread boards for a long time. [:(]

Well, I'm glad to see that there are some female wargamers about these days. Red-headed or otherwise. Long ago I tried introducing a girlfriend in the world of board wargaming. I should have known better. It went.....poorly. Worst rout I ever suffered. I still enjoy the "envelopes and bathtubs" remark, though. LOL, one sure fire way to kill and ruin her mood is to play Risk with her, we don’t play Risk anymore let alone any wargames, that was as far as I got. Big lol on the envelope and bathtubs, wonder what she would have said about Europa war game counters.

"Are you a closet Nazi or something?" [:D] I recall that whole 'Nazis-in-secret' suspicion from those outside the hobby during my board gaming days. I always resented it, but I'd also agree that there were some in the hobby who glamorized the German Army and identified a bit too closely with their black and white SS Panzer counters.

The UNDERDOG is always my favorite. I like playing Germany in ww2 and Confederates in Civil war. I don't ACTUALLY believe any of their positions or politics are acceptable but they are the FUNNIEST to play. As to uniforms I don't care but equipment in ww2 the Germans had lots of cool equipment to play with in a game.
