Hi all,

I have noticed a strange behaviour with the ferry mode.

I am playing Indian Fury#2 scenario "Mozambique Madness", there are 6 AV-8 on board the LPH Peleliu.
Gunner has designed a LUA code so that you can transfer ammo from Diego Garcia to other airbases so that they can re-arm the AV-8s.

First time I have ferried them to Ouani airport, without putting them in Ferry mode, and with the ammo transferred by the C-130 I was able to re-arm them.

Second time I have changed the AV-8s to Ferry mode to reach Lakipia airbase but this time I was unable to change their loadout even if the magazines of the base received the ammo by C-130.
I have rebased them on Peleliu but I am still unable to change their loadout.

Don't know if ths behaviour is scenario or game related, or maybe player related :-)

Here is the last save of the game, I am trying to revert them to reserve status to see if I can change the loadout from reserve.

The magazine is missing some AN/ALQ-164 DECM items as the various load-outs need at least 1. I added a couple to the LPH magazine, and the load-outs became selectable.

I'm a bit surprised that it didn't add the ALQ back into the magazine (assuming it still had one loaded) when you changed them from a normal load out to the Ferry one.

Just tried it on a clean start of the scenario and it did add the ALQ into the magazine on the LHA.

The missing ALQs are indeed in Ouani airport. Where I assume you changed the load out to Ferry while at the airport, and they were added to it's magazine. So a bit of a quandary.
Does Gunner need to add some spares to LHA to cater for the possible storage of the devices at another location??

Yes I changed to ferry mode at Ouani airport then flew the AV-8s to Lakipia, I had suggested to Gunner to add 6 an-alq to the C-130 load
