I've been sucked into this game. I think it's the same devs as FTL, the game is a time-sink :) Thoughts?

This game has over 3000 very positive reviews so that's a good sign. I haven't played it but its on my list. I love FTL even though I suck at it.

I have played few scenarios of it, then stopped. I lost most (or all) of my "pilots" before I completed/failed the first campaign.

Same people made FTL I believe.

Great reviews but the reviews saying it's like a puzzle to work out has put me off.
