I have CMANO GOTY and the COW DLC.
I'm an experienced CMANO player since day one, but just recently got COW.
As I understand it "cargo" in the game is units being transported. Is there a way to move actual cargo such as ordinance from one base to another or from a base to a carrier group or SAG with aircraft?
I've watched the Baloogan cargo demo on youtube and that shows how to transport units, but I'm looking to try and use it to resupply. I've had no luck figuring out how to do so as yet.

currently you cannot use the cargo stuff to move ammo - only things that are in the cargo menu - units such as tanks/inf/vehicles/some radars and sams.

People have discussed the ability to move ammo/supplies around but no idea if that is on the todo list or not.

It can be done via lua but that isn't the same...

It can be done, but you have to have suitable cargo loadouts (e.g. "40x AMRAAM") in the database.

Ok, I'm intrigued. How would one go about creating custom loadouts such as that??

You have to request for the appropriate loadouts on the DB3000 requests thread.

That's interesting - curious to see how this will work. So far I've always just set up special actions for a non player side and Lua'd the ammo in.

huh. Would the cargo turn into usable ammo at the destination? or would it remain as cargo? and would it be in a usable form at the source?

Much like an aircraft returning to an airbase with pods / bombs / missiles unused, the weapons would be added to the airbase.

Its a bit easier to set this up via Lua and special actions, perhaps a special action that launches an allied C-130 to a airbase, requiring the player to escort. And a Lua event checking to see if the aircraft is at the airport, then teleporting in and grouping a weapons pad with the desired munitions.
