ADMIRAL3 -> OOB WWII Endsieg and Sandstorm Compatibility v 7.1.4 (11/18/2018 11:01:04 AM)

After update OOB WWII to v 7.1.4 and installation of Endsieg DLC the DLC Sandstorm appears linked to Endsieg but does not start when tried to load as new game the same occurs to other saved games both original and custom

have you ever used a mod?

site or steam version?

have you uninstalled and reinstalled with the latest update from the members area if your using the site version etc?

as it's best not to use older installers, as the latest one is the best one to use for all site users, 32bit or 64bit etc

irt zakblood:
1. Had used many custom campaign all working with the previuos oobww2 version and still working with 7.1.4
2. Only site version no steam
3. no only updated oobww2 with the new version then installed endsieg
4. do not understand what you mean in your last sentence.
TYVM FOR YOUR RESPONSE

as you have or are having issues with the
quote:

Endsieg DLC the DLC Sandstorm
part etc and have installed custom mods etc in the past, maybe a file has become corrupt so maybe a time for a reinstall etc?

which is what i meant with the last part, and if you do, make sure you clean out the old folder once uninstalled before you re install etc so it's totally removed and empty before reinstalling, and when you reinstall, use the latest installer, not maybe one you have saved on the pc, eg login to the members section and download the latest version for your system, either the 32bit one, if your on a 32bit version of windows, or the 64bit installer if your on the 64bit version, then install the dlc's etc

The patch appears to be a problem with Sandstorm DLC. A complete uninstall/reinstall of the game using the setup file clears it up :

Unfortunately I applied all the steps suggested and initially the game ran correctly . After some sessions of play the PC failed to startup signalling error. Many attempts to disinstall and reinstall the game every time downloading the 7.1.4 setup exe turned out unsuccessfull during installation with the followin error message:

A decompresson error has occurred (#2026)

Unknown decompression error.

I always have checked the PC files and registry with AVG PC TUNEUP then retried always with the same negative outcome.

I applied the procedure deleting the file settings in documents/ my game and proceding as detailed in https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp? before starting the new installation I installed the file exe OoB_ClRegx64.zip.

Try downloading via a different Internet browser than the one one you are currently using, then reboot Windows in Safe Mode and install it. After having installed the game Reboot Windows.

For on how boot your Windows in Safe Mode, please check the guides presented on the following links:
