For the past week or so I can't get the game to launch. When I launch the game in Steam I get the splash screen but when I click "Play C:MANO" command.exe launches but then closes after a few seconds and sends me back to the splash screen.

I've tried reinstalling and verifying the integrity of the game files (for the new install), but I haven't had any luck so far.

Please try first Step 1 and if the issue still persists try Step 2.
Step 1: Run the game as Administrator

- Right-click the game in your Steam Library.
- Go to Properties, then to the Local Files tab.
- Click Browse Local Files.
- Locate the game executable (the application file).
- Right-click it and go to Properties.
- Click the Compatibility tab.
- Check the "Run this program as an administrator" box.
- Click Apply. Having done this, restart Steam and try launching the game again.


Step 2: Run Steam as Administrator

- Navigate your Steam installation file (By default, it is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam).
- Right-click the Steam executable.
- Follow the above steps to set it to Run as Administrator.
- Restart Steam.

I've tried both. Still can't get the game to start. I also rebooted my pc and then tried starting the game with both steam.exe and command.exe in 'run as admin' mode but that didn't work eiter.

check your anti virus logs and see if thats stopped it

Just checked. I don't see anything related to C:Mano or Steam.

Can you please check the event log and see if there are crash logs in there.

Having a bit of an issue with the forum, apparently I'm "not allowed to post links, emails or phone numbers for 7 days from the date of your tenth post." So I've embedded a screenshot of the error in the post.

without the logfile the game makes, the above post / screenshot isn't of much use, as it says an error, but doesn't give enough information to say what is or could be causing the error, as the game makes a logfile of all error which make it easier for the developers to fully understand what may or could have gone wrong

are the ones which are needed, and can be attached to the reply as there txt files, so don't need to be copied / pasted etc

game folder called logs

and can you also check you have these loaded as well?

Reinstalling the prerequisites worked. The only file in the Logs folder was an empty logs.txt file.
