Hi,
in manual is said that German units can receive supplies and replacements without having to use vehicles (20.4.1.1).
they can use animal transport up to 3 hexes from the depot.
I'm wondering if in a situation like this one in Tunisia could be useful to build some depots in places like Beja and Bou arada (circled in red)?
these rail depots can be very small, they can contain only 250 tons but they're close to the frontline so they would avoid long travels (and attrition) to trucks from Tunis and Bizerte ports; exploiting instead animal transport.
What do you think about that?
