Hi

I want to test 1.16 but cant get it work. I got an error messege in the startup.
My version say I have 15.02, not 15.01.
Any idea what can be wrong.

Cheers

The v1.16 Beta is for the Matrix install only at this time, but we should have an official update released fairly soon, so I would suggest just holding off until then as the install will then be seamless for you.

It shouldn't be too much longer, just wrapping things up as we speak.

Welches Update sollte man nehmen? Den normalen v1.16 oder den v1.16 "Panzerfaust"?

Thanks. Got it.

BUT. Sorry, but can you help with this? The file from that link, Hubert, is an installer that, when I run it, wants to install into the main game folder (for me C: Strat Command etc), not into the USER folder you mention at the start of this thread (which for me is, in fact D: Documents/my games/ strat command etc). You suggest unpacking and then overwriting into Campaigns etc, but, as I said, that's an installer file, once you've downloaded and unzipped it. Should I just let it install into the main game folder, as it suggests, or direct it to the Strat Command game folder in Documents (which is where the campaigns are stored)? Thanks.

Hubert Cater -> RE: Strategic Command v1.16 Beta Update Available (6/4/2019 7:07:32 PM)

Hi Phoenix100,

Apologies as this Beta available thread should no longer have been pinned to the top as the game has been fully updated to v1.16 now and the instructions here no longer apply. Simply update to the official version of the game patch v1.16.02 and apply the official version of the Community Pack which I linked to a couple of posts above. And yes, the official Community Pack now installs to the root folder for the game and no longer to the USER folder as it did previously.

Hope this helps,
Hubert
