BKL -> Hex Changes Spot After Clicking on Task Force Screen (12/18/2018 3:16:44 AM)

I noticed that if I click on a task force and the information screen appears, when I exit the information screen, the highlighted hex box will randomly change to another hex box on the screen. Not a big deal, but I would prefer it to remain on the hex I was currently at (the one with that my original task force was in).

Is this just a weird glitch, or is there something I can do to fix it?

Thank you!

BKL

This happens sometimes. Nothing you can really do about it.

There's an even "worse" one when you're in a CV TF's air groups screen and setting orders, sometimes. When you exit that CV TF's information screen the view of the map might shift about 15 or 20 hexes in a random direction. It is annoying if you're trying to set orders for a whole bunch of TFs and have to keep going back to the hex they're in, but it has no effect other than annoyance.

Sometimes when you click on a unit the program tries to "center" on what it thinks you are interested in.
It was not done to irritate you.
That does NOT mean however...that the game is NOT out to "get you", because we know it really is, lol.[;)]

My impression is that the odd shift (I have had it go a hundred hexes to a corner of the map) occurs after you have done something that confuses the game's logic and then moved on to something else. This is similar to what happens when you change a TF's destination while it is in an off-map holding box - the game just cannot parse the calculations.

I cannot give exact details at this time of how this happens (computer crashed, just got a new HD and [groan] Win 10 and trying to figure out basics). Lost all game stuff on the old HD. I was literally 12 hours from doing a full backup because the system was acting up.

So I when I get things up and running I will try to isolate and describe an instance of this happening.
