Turn 35. May/June 1945. Axis #3. Germany. End of Impulse. Die-hard Nazis, well those that are still alive, refuse to give up and are extracting the last bit of bone marrow from the dying Reich. Allied Cooperation. In the spirit of allied cooperation, which last turn saw the Soviets giving the Western Allies access and their blessing to take Berlin, is this turn repaid by the Western Allies by giving the Soviets access and their blessing to take (and keep) Settin and Dresden. Though, the defenders of Settin and Dresden aren't making it easy for the Soviets. With respect to Berlin, the allies agreed to set partitions (i.e., zones of occupation) for the city and for all of Germany at their conference in Yalta last month (i.e., April). So it really didn't/doesn't matter with allied power(s) took Berlin or takes Settin and Dresden because the occupation zones were set at Yalta. Even the French have their zone both in Germany and in Berlin. Though, Comrade Stalin questioned both Churchill and Roosevelt (at Yalta) as to why the French deserve any consideration given their (lack of) contribution to the defeat of German.
