EagleMountainDK -> [998.16] Command fails to start. Steam version and Community Pack 40 (1/6/2019 2:54:33 PM)

Hi

My Steam version of Command has just stopped working. I tried to uninstall/reinstall but it did not help (since it also downloaded all my subscriptions). So I removed all my subscriptions, cleaned the folder and did a new install. Command starts up just fine. Installing the new Community Pack 40 from the Steam Workshop go fine, but starting Command does not. In the Task Manager it has the "not responding" state. So there is something it does not like...

"Unsubscribing" the CP does not remove the files so I went to the Scenarios\Stem Workshop" and deleted all files -> Command starts again.

Any advice, besides not playing around the the newest CP? ;)

Cheers
Mark

Try just starting up Command and leave it on the start up/main menu. One of the first things it does is copy the files from the Steam workshop download folder into the '<Command>\Scenario\Steam Workshop' folder.
See if the files are being copied there.

Not sure why it would be locking up on the '<Command>\Scenario\Steam Workshop' folder. Unless it has some issue with the number of files in the folder.[&:]

Hi, has this been resolved ?

No it still stops :(

If I remove the "CommunityScenarioPack" folder it starts again. The folder is located here on my pc if it can give you any insight: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Command Modern Air Naval Operations\Scenarios\Steam Workshop\CommunityScenarioPack

Moving the "CommunityScenarioPack" to the scenario folder root also works, i.e. on my pc: D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Command Modern Air Naval Operations\Scenarios
