When attacking or defending when stacked units are from different Corps or Armies you get a 10 or even 30% penalty. Does it apply to that particular unit causing that % penalty or does it concern the whole stack?
Let's say I use 2 div from one Corps and 1 from another Corps. That's a 10% penalty from that last unit. That 10% penalty applies to the 3 divisions or just to that last one that causes it?

It's to all units attached to that HQ. In your example '... from another Corps'. As the first Corps has two div it's leader will be in overall command amd have no penalty. See section 15.6.2.2, Command HQ and Command Battle Modifier in new manual for details.

ok so the units under the general leading the combat (whose name is listed in the after combat report) have no penalty but all the others coming from a different Corps/Army will suffer the penalty they bring in and only to them.
Thx.
