Battelman2 -> Gunships not properly strafing targets (1/12/2019 9:41:28 AM)

Build 998.17 (via Steam) I've got 4 AC-130J Ghostriders on a Land Strike mission, with A/G Gun Strafing enabled. In the attached save, you can see that the aircraft are indeed trying to attack the targets, but for some reason they are unable to get within firing range. They maintain a left-turn pattern, as expected, but (I think) due to their low altitude, their land-attack range is significantly decreased. Their range is staying around 1,000 meters, while the target remains much further away than that, so they are unable to fire. Watching their turn patterns, they strangely continue to climb and descend, getting very very close to within firing range before immediately backing off- seemingly deliberately. All 4 gunships got off one 105mm round each initially, before they had finished their descent from cruise altitude. After reaching attack altitude they have been completely unable to fire any additional rounds. This makes me think it is an issue with their altitude- but what I can't figure out is why their firing range is reduced so significantly when they are still within the acceptable altitude ranges of their weapons. Maybe LOS? Idk... Happy to provide any further information if needed.
