I was playing the campaign. Not just choose a single mission. When I finished mission 15 The 5th eskadra instead of starting the next mission it jumps back to mission 13. I dont like to pick the individual missions so i hope this can be fixed soon

Hi,

There seems to be a mismatch between the campaign ID as reported by the campaign file, and as reported by the scenarios themselves.

Please download the attached campaign file, and unzip it to the \Scenarios\Shifting Sands folder (overwrite the existing one). Then give it a go and let us know.

It doesnt seem to have a pass score anymore I passed the mission. It didnt move me forward... The mission did play different... I thought better

Alright so let me share my experience. I am not brand new at this game so it is not me. I passed this mission 3 times trying to get the next mission to open up prior to the fix. For some unknown reason sense I applied the fix as per instructions. The highest score I was able to obtain was 1900. I saw a aircraft carrier sink and it awarded no points for it. The landing group does nothing they used to go on there mission. In three attempts I have not been able to get a passing result when before the fix I never lost the mission. My last attempt I felt that there might be a new goal like actuall get the landing group to there area so I flanked them there and they were unable to make it before the mission end.. Not sure what going on here

As a temporary measure, you can easily edit the campaign file, take a look at what it says the passing score is: 4800. I haven't played this one so I don't know how you get there.

BUT, you can edit the score to 2100 load the last save and move on.

I passed the mission previously. It just went to a previous mission after I dont really remember what the pass score was I think I might have gotten it confused. It really doesnt matter. All I know is Im stuck on this mission. It should work its what i paid money for. I own the whole game every DLC and Im disspointed at the no support on a small issue. I dont want to patch this myself. That is sloppy and I want to play a working game. I need a solution to the problem not a put some duck tape on it solution I can do myself.

Three members of the dev team have been trying to help you on what you yourself say is a "small issue", and two of them have tried to reproduce this on their local machines without success, and they are still looking. If by your standards that counts as "no support", then we are truly sorry.

I haven't played Shifting Sands but from what I see (from 2 different players) the passing score is 4800. Now I suck at math but I know that 2150 is less than 4800 so it seems to me (without having access to the mission briefings) that an objective is being missed.

Arielchyld sorry you are having problems. We understand this is frustrating but the team has supported you as much as they can. 2 of the team have already replied in this thread and tried to repeat the problem but so far have been unable to. If you can give us more information that might help track it down we'll look again but at the moment we don't really have any ideas what might be happening. We also dont have any other reports from other users experiencing it, which makes it feel like this is an issues specific to you and your hardware, which may mean it is unfixable.

One thing to try would be a fresh install in case any files have become corrupt.

You may have passed the mission before, but you are playing it NOW, and don't have a passing score this time around. There isn't any place where your previous passing score is saved, unless you have a previous save where your score exceeded the passing score of 4800. So if you DO have an old save with say, 4900 points, open that saved game and you should be able to advance.

As an alternative, as I stated above, if you've previously passed it and just want to move on rather than replay to get the score, and DON'T have a 4900 point saved game, then make a copy of the campaign file, edit the passing score to 2000, and reload the save you have there with 2150 and presto, you advance. That's not a broken game. It's just you deciding you don't want to duplicate your work just to move ahead. I've actually used that method when I just got tired of trying to beat a particular scenario and wanted to move ahead.

From your description, unless I'm completely missing something, it appears to be working as it's supposed to.
