No matter what I tell the preferences, the game will ALWAYS run in a window half the size of my (1980x1020) monitor. I can´t run it full screen AND I can´t increase the window. This is so ugly and irritating the game is unplayable for me this way. [:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]

Is anybody here? Why does the game completely ignore the preference settings? It simply refuses to go to full screen mode. This is ridiculous!

You are right, only I didn´t know there was a problem with Windows10 compat in the first place. [&:] Will try your suggestions.

well good luck and hope the solution works for you, as it didn't work for me until someone else found it and sorted it and then posted it to help others like us who it didn't work for either[:D]

Did you upgrade to v1.040, I don't have any problems running the game on Win10. Just be careful not to alt-tab when in full screen.
