SparkleyTits -> Armoured defensive CV being multiplied (2/9/2019 2:34:50 PM)

I am noticing a few pieces of armour (All seem to be under 1 CV) that seem to have their defensive CV multiplied if their fort levels are under 1

Are there more, less situations that dictate this happening?

Thanks!

I'm not sure what you mean? Can you post a pic.

I am guessing we are looking at a lone Tank Division in rough terrain with no fortifications.

That division still had a CV of 1=11 (at least during my turn).

If that is the one, I guess CV was above 1 when he turn was mine :-)

There are a lots of mangled armour in our game Dinglr yeah [:D]

The CV's are such as
0.4/1.9, light woods, fort level 0(18%)
0.6/2.9, light woods, fort level 0(28%)
0.7/7.8, rough, fort level 1(28%)

They're all defensively multiplied but it only seems to happen when the armour is below 1 offensive CV
I dunno if MOT counts as I cannot find one of them that are appliciable

It also seems like my first post is wrong after looking a bit more and the fort level does not matter

Has it got anything to do with section 7.1.2 new unofficial manual? Last sentence in particular.

I'm not sure it's a case of rounding up or down to 1 as once you hover over the unit it will show the units CV to a decimal point which greatly lowers the spread and makes the readings much more accurate

If you hover over a depleted tank brigade you could see values like 0.0CV for example but yes, on map it will always show as 1
So I always thought when hovering the CV values were always much more concise comparative to onmap CV's but I am questioning everything now so perhaps not and I am just misunderstanding the engine?

I did try yesterday but I couldn't manage to find a way to take pictures while hovering over units to get a more detailed outlook with the software I use unfortunately

@St: Couple of possible explanations:
-Is the unit unready?
-does it have a lack of vehicles?
Both can change offensive to defensive CV ratio.

SparkleyTits -> RE: Armoured defensive CV being multiplied (2/12/2019 11:13:11 AM)

Yes and quite possibly but I don't have the game file to check on trucks atm

I assumed I was getting something wrong or out of context as having CV multiplied in that manner seemed to make no sense
I would guess that may well be the answer though bud cheers!

The point Is that offensive CV are halved for unready units while def CV remain unchanged.

Brilliant cheers man, problem solved!

The joys of being a dummy who does not read the manuals [:D]

I did not either, but observed it by chance one day.

Well thank the heavens you're a far more cognisant man than I [:D]

Well, in my first post I asked where the Admin point count can be found on the screen [:D]
