I'm having great fun with the small scenario 'Excellent Loon' where you are supposed to find and ping a Soviet PLRB near Canada's coast.
My sonobuoys have already detected and identified a PLARK.
However, there were not able to detect another goblin, which I detected by sheer luck by the MAD one of my planes flying directly over it. [8D]
I assume this is the PLRB. I have sent a Sea King and one of my destroyer who are able to find it with their sonars now as well. They can't seem to be able to identify it, however, and they can't even tell its depth. The destroyer has been on top of the goblin for about an hour already.
Are the Canadian sonar of the time just too outdated to properly identify the goblin? Do I need to wait even longer for them to identify it?
Hope someone who has played the scenario can help
