jardail -> What does this mean/what does it do? (3/13/2019 2:55:39 AM)

I have looked the manual over, done extensive google searches, but nowhere can I find what the Yes and No means on the port screen. The black arrows point at what I'm referring to. Maybe these 61 year old eyes aren't as sharp as I thought they were.

It is not in the manual, they were added in a patch. They set stockpiling to yes or no. I would advocate not changing them from no until you fully
understand what they do. If they are set to yes, the base will stockpile that commodity and not release it to any base that needs it. You can still
fuel ships and LCUs will still be able to draw supply from the base, but any other base needing supply will not be able to be supplied from that
base. The same holds for the other 3 items. I rarely use the stockpile feature, it is not needed much and if used unwisely it will cause you no end
of problems.

Roger that and thank you for the explanation. That does explain some of my supply issues.

I will also tell you to be very careful with the supply required selections. Making too many bases require high supply can cause supply issues.
Again, think what you are telling the base commander and what effect it will have on the other bases connected to it.

If you are Allies, once you learn how to work the system it can help you get a few thousand more supplies into China. But you have to know how it works first.

Thank you for the suggestions and tips Gents. It's much appreciated. I forgot how much I really did enjoy this game. Now that I have a bit more time to play, I'm going to learn as much as I can about the ins and outs. Anyone have any suggestions on GOOD tutorials? I still think there are things I'm missing.

Start simple with some scenarios. Read AARs - both sides if possible. Ask questions. The only dumb question is the one that hasn't been asked. The only stupid one is the one that has been asked twice. Don't forget to read the manual AND the updates!

Here is a good place to start:
