OLt Losqualo's eyes were suddenly drawn to to a grotesque scene. Directly on his left there was a Hawk picking at a little, odd looking yellow figure. The yellow figure was already in a bad state, so OLt Losqualo decided the Hawk wouldn't need any help and so he drove along...

Losqualo -> Turn 2 (6/30/2003 3:11:08 PM)

The Tiger was now slowly creeping to the top of a hill. "Enemy tank at 12 o'clock!" the gunner yelled. OLt Losqualo grabbed his binoculars and instantly found the enemy tank. Again it was a Sherman with a long barrel, like the one in the dessert. But something was different.
It seemed that the enemy tank had some technical problems, since it's crew was standing around the tank and was discussing. And in the middle, you won't believe it, was the unshaven man with the brown leathercap. One of the crewmembers must have spotted the Tiger, because he suddenly pointed in OLt Losqualos direction. Immediately the crew began to enter the Sherman.
OLt Losqualo decided to give the enemy crew some more things to discuss and opened fire. The first shot missed but the second one was a hit on the turret. While it didn't penetrate it caused some damage. From OLt Losqualo's position it was impossible to assess the damage so he decided to continue shooting. The third shot missed but the fourth shot hit the Shermans Hull. Some tools were flying through the air, but that shell didn't penetrate the armour too.
Since the turret of the Sherman began to rotate now, OLt Losqualo decided to retreat and to wait until the enemy crew would would climb out to discuss the further damage done to their tank.

Hey Los'.....i just reformatted my "C" drive last night. I will install Spwaw and do our turn tonight...........Dam Computer!!!!!!!:mad: :mad:
I should really be up and running tonight... I'm off on thursday and friday so we can get in alot of rounds...;) ;)

After waiting a short moment that seemed like a week, OLt Losqualo decided to interrupt the ongoing discussion. Slowly the Tiger crept to the hilltop, but the enemy Sherman was gone!
Where the Sherman was before, only bagpacks, sleeping bags, sandbags and feathers, in short all the stuff a Sherman being hit looses, were seen.
Slowly the Tiger rolled down the hill, but apparently the enemy commander had decided to hide somewhere. Though OLt Losqualo had to accept this as a wise decision, he now had to search for the Sherman.

OLt Losqualo was a bit puzzled. He was used to Sherman drivers fleeing the battlefield, but one that only hides? But since he had nothing better to do he decided to search for the hiding spot.

Well at least I'm getting used to it...:rolleyes:

But I must say slowly I get some nagging doubts about those "security violations"... Did Jess provide some special OOB's with the maps? So you'll hit even with a 9 % chance to hit?
On the other hand, I said it before and I say it again:

Hmm.... Hawk's tanks does seem to be too good to be true. ;) Remember, the 1-on-1's are played with 100 exp. crews, which may or may not give the US an advantage. What I know is that they are incredibly tough and accurate.....

OLt Losqualo thought about giving up his Tiger so he would finally be able to leave Russia and head to some warmer region.
But it seemed unlikely to him that OKW would give him a fourth chance to hunt the unshaven man with the leathercap, so he brushed away that thought and drove on.

The propaganda OLt Losqualo heard showed first results. He couldn't do much but thinking about cigars, chocolate and .... girls!
Now what should he do? Giving in, he would probably get shot by his own men, and not giving in he would probably get shot too. His finger hovered over the little button which was labeled "F9" and would tell his crew to leave the Tiger.
But slowly his brain started to work again and he thought about cigarettes, white wine and ... his wife!
No he would not give in, he just would make the enemy crew bail out and collect all the promised things from the empty Sherman.

The propaganda thankfully changed from promises to threats. And the last thing OLt Losqualo wanted was to be in Berlin, be it in the form of ashes or in his normal human shape.
But anyway, his bigger problem was the performance of his Tiger in snowy conditions. With that speed it would take weeks to come to the area were the enemy was hiding.
