Berserk -> Bersek Vs The Bean Counter revised (6/22/2003 8:13:29 PM)

Following the appauling defeat of the Germans by the SO, the German General was summoned to the Wolfs Den in Swartzenwald.

Having said a formal farewell to his family and friends, he loaded his Walther p38 with a single shot and entered the Den feeling a chill running down his spine.

To his surprise The Fuhrer accepted his explanation that he had had no imagination about the might he had been up against and he was given a last chance to redeem himself with the message that there The Fuhrer would tolerate nothing but a Decisive Victory.

His opponent will again be the formidable veteran Bean Counter, who will again unleash his hordes against this young and untrained German General.

Berserk -> (6/23/2003 2:42:53 AM)

And no re-inforcements until turn 7

Berserk -> A whisteling sound from above (6/24/2003 1:22:07 AM)

Red is the color of their flag
Red is the color of their blood
Red is the color dripping from their arty pieces
Red is the color of the behind of a baboon :D

And the smoke won't help them none. :cool:

Gary Tatro -> Commrade General (6/24/2003 4:19:01 AM)

Wake up. The Germans they are comming. BOOM, BOOM, BOOM.

What, they arn't comming have you seen any yet?
Ah, no sir.
They are just fishing. Huh who would have thought, germans fishing. :p

Berserk -> (6/24/2003 4:55:24 AM)

A few SO motorcyclist that had ran out of gas behind enemy lines didn't make it back. Instead they join their Artiellery Comerades in Ruski Heaven.

Still no German blod.

Gary Tatro -> Sorry (6/24/2003 5:28:58 AM)

Getting "saved game failed to load" you will have to reload the turn I sent you and then play it again and resend. Just wait about 30 seconds after you end your turn to do anything else.

Gary Tatro -> More fishing and (6/29/2003 9:23:38 AM)

still not contact, back to you.

Berserk -> (6/30/2003 1:41:41 AM)

Finished of those annoying SO MC squads :rolleyes:

Gary Tatro -> Some contact (6/30/2003 4:13:56 AM)

In the northern woods. Some calvery find a bunch of Panzershrecks. Poor panzershrecks, cut down without even knowing what trod overthem.

Berserk -> (6/30/2003 4:57:34 AM)

The SO Cavalry is engaged by different German forces and pushed back fewer in their ranks than they came.

They are some tough guys though and makes of after having killed a Flammwagon.

In the aftermath a heavy SO barrage kills nothing :rolleyes:

Berserk -> (6/30/2003 5:19:47 AM)

The file.

My mail server is down

Gary Tatro -> More (6/30/2003 11:52:31 AM)

contact in the northern woods. Lots of flaming death, but they are having a hard time with the horsy's. Some guards move in supported by tanks. Looks like a heavy contact with panthers and flame tanks and infantry. Hmmmm.

Berserk -> (7/1/2003 4:34:32 PM)

Counted a lot of red death in the last turn including a couple of T35/85s and an ISU 152 (even though I could'nt read about it anywhere :p)

This turn the figting continues. A t34/85 has its turret knocked in and another ISO 152 has its tracks burned off. :D

A panther is ambushed by the SO Cavalry and dies :mad:

In the centre a SO recon patrol is dealt with and expedited out of this world to meet their many already dead fellows. :p

Those SO Horsies are a pretty tough bunch:eek:

Gary Tatro -> Come comrade (7/2/2003 5:17:54 AM)

Leave the woods fighting to the Cossacks and Guards they know how to do it right. Many of your AFV's fell to assualts this turn. You should know better than to get into a woods battle without a lot of infantry. Well back to you we have quite a battle raging. I counted a PZ-III, Three light AT AFV's and a Panther. Ouch. Back to you comrade. Much better than last game so far. :)

Berserk -> (7/2/2003 5:59:41 AM)

The valiant Germans knocks out another T38/85 this turn accompanied by a couple of recce teams.

In the aftermath a well placed SO 120 gets a kill of a Panther:mad:

Berserk -> Bump (7/4/2003 6:16:47 PM)

Still in the woods??

Berserk -> (7/7/2003 4:40:56 AM)

The close combat in the Northern woods continue albeit slowing down as both the Germans and the Russians are hammered by artiellery.

Otherwise the fronts are quiet.

Gary Tatro -> Comrade (7/7/2003 6:45:03 AM)

Your inhuman use of Wolfram Helfire rockets will not be tolerated. Sheeesh man they were just horses. I guess we will just have to have a barbaque now. Hmmm have not had horse in a few days. :)
One Panther dies to numberous assaults.

Berserk -> (7/7/2003 8:31:40 PM)

The SO forces appear extremely over self confident and charges North and Centre.

What will they find.

Their death maybe ?? :D

Gary Tatro -> Comrade (7/9/2003 7:42:31 AM)

What is this use of ATG's in our last game I saw none of this ATG stuff from the germans. Could it be posible that the Germans are learning from the Russians. Imposible comrade that is rediculous. :) Lose a halftrack and kill a half track. After heavy fighting up in the northern woods the Germans have seems to slink away into the woods covering there tracks with Wolframes and large caliber artillary. Russians get bogged down and can not persue. :(

Berserk -> (7/9/2003 9:34:52 PM)

Probably not a lot left to pursue with :D

Berserk -> (7/10/2003 3:30:36 AM)

This time round a few casulties on either side, but no major exchange of fire.

The SO's looses a MC gang.

In the aftermath a well placed Katysha attack hits dead right.

VikingNo2 -> (7/10/2003 3:41:37 AM)

Go Berserk put that bean counter in his place:D

Berserk -> (7/10/2003 4:38:26 AM)

Please don't make him angry ;)

Berserk -> (7/10/2003 6:13:46 PM)

Killed a T34/85 in the south along with a couple of M5's and their comerades riding in them. :D :D :D

In the Centre an IS 152 has been severely crippled, and is probably not gonna be more danger this game :D

However my armour and infantery is heavily suppressed and I'm sure that the next turn I am gonna pay a heavy toll. :eek: :(

In the North all is quiet except from a few SO recons getting shot up.

In the aftermath a T34/85 is hull hit by a 120mm. What happened to that comerade?

Back to the master os Mobile SO warfare!

Gary Tatro -> There you go now you made me mad!!! (7/11/2003 6:50:28 AM)

Germans take a beating this turn as the lose 2 Tigers and 2 Panthers. :( Ouch. :)

Berserk -> (7/11/2003 7:07:02 PM)

Bad bad bad day.

All quiet this turn , but the end is near now!:(

Blows a few bad guys away with my wurframen.

Gary Tatro -> End is near, ha? (7/14/2003 6:50:40 AM)

Another Panther is destroyed and another one is immoblized this turn. There still seems to be a lot of Panthers and Tigers running around still. But the amount of infantry is not that evedent. Mother Russia continues to push forward after regrouping. Heavy mutiple contacts in the southern woods now as the panthers above and an SDK 222 are destroyed along with some support infantry.
In the middle infantry platoons disappear as they are hit with multiple wolframe rockets. :( I hate rockets.

Back to you oh crazed attacker.

Berserk -> (7/15/2003 2:52:18 AM)

The SO forces are all over the place now. There is not much left to be done and the Germans withdraw (flee) to their best abilities.

Gary Tatro -> Comrade (7/15/2003 6:47:11 AM)

I think you are crying wolf. Yes I have found some holes in your lines. Yes I have won some key engagements. But I still think you have many tanks left to deal with my puny armor forces. Unfortunately you have to come into the woods to find them, and my infantry will be ready. :)
