Andrea G -> [NO REPRO] Desert Storm Scenario 1 TF Routing Problem (3/29/2019 6:52:04 PM)

Playing the Invasion scenario in the new DLC I have a problem with TF La Salle.

It acts like it it's landlocked, every route I try to set it staggers without setting the course and remains at 0 knots.

The nearby merchant Matera Marigo seems to have the same problem.

Attached is the saved game.

Thanks in advance

I opened the scenario 2 just for a quick test and I have the same problem with all the TFs

Well, there is a BIGGER PROBLEM that just the new DLC scenarios.

I opened one of my previous saved games: Mediterranean Fury #4

Please take a look at the attached save.

The surface TF act as previously described but the subs are even weirder, they are moving faster that airplanes, seems to teleport without following the route set.

Oh my, I have stopped Command and restarted; things are now as usual, TFs and Subs behaviour are normal.

Sorry for the nuisance but I was scared out of my wits, a weekend starting and Command not working, could it be worse than this? [:D]

I don't know what is happening here. I loaded both of your saves and manually changed their speeds via the "F2" key and the ships in question immediately responded, increasing speed and following their courses. I also tried running a fresh start and it also worked ok. I'm using CMANO v1.15, Build 1009.27.4.

I cannot speak to the Mediterranean Fury scenario but I'm going to pass this question to the dev team for their check.

Thanks for bringing it up.

I've seen wonky things when the memory gets too high - can't remember exactly the behavior - restarting the game fixes it.

Hey Maurizio,

Not to worry, I'm just glad it's all working for you now! I sent your follow up to the dev's.

At least now I know how to restore the correct behaviour.

That's one bug that is impossible to solve because it doesn't show on the save file.

BTW my name is Andrea, the signature is about one of the two italian pilots downed during operation Desert Storm; Capt (Navigator) Maurizio Cocciolone was captured by the iraquis and showed on tv, that's the phrase which started his interview.

ANDREA,

Thanks for the clarification on your name.

Dimitris -> RE: Desert Storm Scenario 1 TF Routing Problem (4/21/2019 1:48:20 PM)

Is this still happening with the current build under low-RAM conditions ?

Andrea G -> RE: Desert Storm Scenario 1 TF Routing Problem (4/23/2019 9:50:39 AM)

No I haven't seen this issue again

Dimitris -> RE: Desert Storm Scenario 1 TF Routing Problem (4/23/2019 9:54:54 AM)

Thanks.
