Playing Invasion right now, and I've found that air and surface contacts made by Saudi and Israeli units do not show on screen even if the New contact prompt appears in the Message Log.

One Israeli F-15 has even visually identified an airliner as neutral and it still doesn't appear on screen.

The problem it's restricted to allied contacs, own contacts shows on screen as they should.

Playing with 1009.27.5 hotfix

I noticed the same behaviour but I thought it was intentionally made to add to Fog of War

I didn't thought on that posibility, let's see what the devs say.

I have also noted this and it is not intentional. The identifiers showed up when the scenarios were being developed.

Also, FWIW, they do show up in "God's Eye" mode.

If it's not intentional it should, adds a layer of uncertainty

Same here. Thought maybe due to the pre-invasion timeline, the communication links among coalition partners wasn’t yet established, but that did not explain why the new contact messages were appearing in the message log.

Not to give away the ending, but a Battle Royale erupts in Invasion after Iraq invades, and the message log is filled with the action, weapons penetration results, etc., but nothing shows on the screen except an occasional yellow explosion somewhere in Kuwait. Where are all the Iraq and Kuwait units that are doing all the fighting? Nowhere on screen.
