Is there any way to specify Attack Altitude for Strike Missions? I can see it in Ground Patrol Missions, so I'm wondering why I cannot find it on Strike Mission screen...

no, you must do it manually.

Even if i manually assign altitude via F2, it will reset after a second and airplane will still fly its optimum release altitude. If it carries dumb bombs, it will drop to 2000 ft, which is really inappropriate if the area is covered with AAA...

I've had some success flying a route over the target and manually commanding release per target. granted, from high altitude you usually don't hit anything unless you are a B-52, but it's better than risking AAA WEZ.

the other big problem is the default launch altitude of PAVEWAY II bombs. at 12,000 feet they will be within SHORAD range, which gets the AI killed often if you don't screw with it.

i'm not saying it wouldn't be a nice feature, i'm just telling you that you have to do it manually.
