Hi,

Helos default to on call...…. anyone see any value in allowing them to be subordinated to the FSCC in much the same way as arty or air?? This would be a selectable option for the player. The friendly AI can't possibly due a worse job of managing them than I do [:D] I've been playing this game for years and still can't manage them usefully.[X(]

Hopefully, adding some additional SOP settings with allow you to better control and use the helicopters the way you want.

I don't know, man, Helos move on the terrain so letting the AI figuring out a path across half the map if they get "called on" by a very far unit may lead to losses. At best I'd give them a "direct support" option, so they can follow closely a friendly unit and attack whatever it spots.

I figured out how to use them, you sneak them in carefully after the enemy's been engaged, they fire the missiles and go to resupply, somehow I thought earlier the helos are not sneak attack units.
