In the attached save you can see how GOBLIN #29 has been detected by Hukkers #1 by mean of it's AN/ASQ-81(V)3 MAD probe.

Problem is that GOBLIN #29 it's a Sierra class submarine with nonmagnetic hull trait and she shouldn't have been detected that way.

Also looking down the detection log you'll see that there is a previous detection (again via AN/ASQ-81(V)3) by Hukkers #4 made at 70+ NM, almost two orders of magnitude farther than it should be.

In the context of Command, I believe the non-magnetic hull modifier gives a 50% reduction in MAD detection range. It does not mean the sub is completely undetectable by MAD.

Thanks, logged. We'll investigate.

Is this happening in the current public build?

?

Seems to be gone, checking with my old save (the one attached in the OP) Hukkers is unable to detect the Sierra like it did before and the contact is only updated when the incoming Seasprites deploy sonobuoys near the goblin. The contact updates are made by sonar only.

So it seems you can cross this one from the list.

Also since we are at it a little consultation: AndrewJ said a few posts earlier than the "Non-Magnetic Hull" trait does not make the submarine MAD-invisible but only reduces it's effective range, it's that correct?

That is correct.
