Hi

I can not manage to attack ground units automatic with guns (F1)


I would like to order Z-10 Fierce Attack Helo to attack Mech inf with guns

->For example in the attached file the Udoshi #1 should attack the nearby Mech Inf Plt (BMP-2) with guns

Manuall coordinate the flight path and manual attack (Shifft F1) works fine, but i don't want to micromanage it

I try with F1 and select the unit but the helo don't attack it.

I have set Winchester: Mission specific weapons and the status of the helo remains "Engaged Offensive" and the helo is following the Mech inf closely but will not attack it

Also i had also make a strike mission without success

Have you allowed aircraft to use their gun for A/G strafing in the doctrine menu? It's usually set 'not allowed' by default to prevent attack aircraft from trying to strafe ground targets after they've dropped their bombs instead of running away.

It seems to me like a bug

Check your Rules of Engagement. Hold should be Manual only. Free or Tight should work for automatic.
