I bought this the other day in my local toy store (of all places!). Its hugely complicated and detailed. As you say there is a alot of reading to be done. But the rules do try and give a sense of real worldness to the game. In turn that gives a good idea of modern naval operations. I will try and get round one day to actually playing the game. One day....

As a lover of miniatures I am also keen to locate the physical board/table top version. Ironically I had a copy a few years back as well as High Tide but wasn't really into modern naval or air warfare back then so sold it. I'm now hunting it down on eBay. I keep hearing rumours of a new edition but this seems to have gone quite recently. Anyone know anything ? Also trying to track down the Victory Games Fleet series. Another series I owned back in the 90s and sold. Retrospect is a wonderful thing isn't it
