Hi

today something very "funny" happened.
I invaded Sicily but the Germans and Italians are doing well and I was forced to leave Sicily.

I had a destroyer in the port, so my transport was placed next to the port. Et voila... instant contact with a German sub. Surprise contact, attack, HQ transport sunk.

Is that a bug or a feature? Won't change the outcome of the game but it was rather annoying to be honest. The Red Army is near Warsaw, France and Belgium liberated and Italy close to surrender due to low national morale but I thought I might report that just in case it is no feature.

Hi LLv34Mika,

Based on your description I would say yes that this is working as intended as it would fall under how general surprise contacts work in game. It is not a typical surprise contact, but one of them nonetheless.
