Hi Steve,

I recognize the enormous effort you put into the game to make it more stable.
My last wish, before you give in to the nice to haves poping up here and there,
fix the Barbarosa scenario.

This is the first impression a newbie gets from the game, would be nice if would be actually playable

The 11 on-map resources are correct. There are only 11 Soviet resources in the playable area. However, USSR should have another 17 resources (and 4 factories) off-map and they seem to be missing. At least during setup. I know they have been there previously because I checked before release.

Have you checked the Soviet production during the end of turn? So that we know that they are not being added later on.

The red border line just East of Tiflis is the border line for the Barbarossa scenario (and used for other setups as divide between Europe and Asia).

I just loaded a gamesave out of an old Barbarossa game in the latest beta test version and production for the USSR isn't correct. The resources and factories in the off map area's are not stated...

I am not sure to which problems with production you are referring.

Here is a screenshot of the Production Planning screen(s) after Germany has set up its units.

The alleged problem lies with Russian, not German, production.

The Russian production screen is on the right of the German one in Steve's post.

I loaded a fast start Barbarossa myself, and my USSR production numbers match the ones in Steve's picture.

That's not a mere 11 resources, but according to the scenario description in the game manual, the USSR's off-map production (figuratively speaking in MWiF) is 6 oil and 11 non-oil resources, which when added to the 11 oil and non-oil resources "on the map" ought to be 26, not 24. So there does appear to be a shortfall.

Actually it should be 28 by your calculations.

The off-map stuff is correct. What are missing are 4 resources in Ukraine. I'll investigate further.
