GaryChildress -> Looking for more gaming options (4/26/2019 10:58:54 AM)

Right now most of the games I have are either ones found on Steam or else Matrix (with a few indie sites like NWS thrown in). Does anyone know of other great gaming sites to choose from?

Thanks.

Top recommendations for GOG and Humble Bundle. Epic and Ubisoft have some decent games on their own not available from elsewhere. If you want something ... NSFW, Google JAST USA.

I would just like to emphasize that as far as I know GOG.com is the only source of digital PC games I know of that sells only games that are DRM-Free.

You are wrong.

Gamersgate also sell DRM free games. Some Steam games are DRM free and can be run without the Steam client.

I think you guys have covered all the bases.

Unless you want to include tablets. Joni Nuutinen sells some nice titles through Google Play store. You only need to Google his name. I have several.
His games are economical, but not crap. He makes 'wargames' in the sense of how we use that term too. Regularly updated, so he tends to his products.

Naval Warfare Simulations.

Battlefront.com

If you’re just looking to broaden your horizons, I would highly recommend EA Origin Access. The “basic” level is $30 for a year of access to several dozen really good games. Old stuff and very new. Seriously, there are more good games then you could even play through in a year on there. No wargames to speak of, but several RTS games. Also, stuff like Out of the Park Baseball and the Zachtronics games, not just action titles. Very much worth the money.
